This Accessibility Statement covers showcase.ananyoo.com, the official demonstration site for the Ariade WordPress theme by M/S. Anblik. We are committed to making the Ariade demo accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, and we build and test it against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, across three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA. showcase.ananyoo.com is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA — fully conformant means the content meets the standard without any exceptions, and this Accessibility Statement records that result. Keyboard Navigation

All functionality is operable with the keyboard alone. Tab order is logical and consistent, and focus indicators are clearly visible (WCAG 2.4.7, 2.4.11).

Text Alternatives

Every meaningful image has a text alternative, and decorative images use empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them (WCAG 1.1.1).

Colour Contrast

Text meets a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text against its background (WCAG 1.4.3).

Responsive Design

Content adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop with no horizontal scrolling required at 320px width (WCAG 1.4.10).

Scalable Text

Text can be resized up to 200% without any loss of content or functionality (WCAG 1.4.4).

Semantic Structure

Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer) and ARIA are used throughout (WCAG 1.3.1).

Skip Link

A “Skip to content” link is the first focusable element, letting keyboard users bypass the navigation (WCAG 2.4.1).

Forms

All form fields have explicit labels, and error messages identify the field and describe how to fix it (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.1, 3.3.2).

Focus Management

Interactive controls meet the minimum target size, and focus is handled correctly inside dynamic components (WCAG 2.5.8).

Motion & Animation

The Accessible Carousel and other animations respect prefers-reduced-motion and can be paused, so movement never becomes a barrier (WCAG 2.2.2).

Measures we take to support accessibility

M/S. Anblik takes the following measures, which stand behind this Accessibility Statement, to keep the Ariade demonstration site accessible:

  • Accessibility is part of our design decisions from the earliest stage of every theme and plugin.
  • Every Ariade theme release and every companion plugin release passes an accessibility review before it goes live.
  • All designers and developers receive ongoing training in accessibility best practices.
  • Each release has a named accessibility reviewer, so ownership is always clear.
  • The demo is regularly re-tested with automated and manual tools to catch regressions early.

Testing methodology

Every page covered by this Accessibility Statement is tested with all three of the following industry-standard tools. A page is only marked verified when it passes on all three.

Deque axe

Automated WCAG rule engine covering 90+ rules. Zero critical, serious, moderate or minor findings on the audited pages.

WebAIM WAVE

Independent accessibility evaluation tool. Zero errors and zero contrast errors on the audited pages.

Google Lighthouse

Chrome-based accessibility audit. Every page scores 100 for Accessibility on both desktop and mobile.

Alongside automated tools, the demo is checked with these manual techniques:

  • Keyboard-only navigation across every interactive element.
  • Screen reader testing with JAWS and NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android.
  • Colour contrast verification with the Colour Contrast Analyzer.
  • Browser zoom testing up to 400 percent, as required by WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.10 Reflow.

Auditor credentials

This work is carried out by Shivaji Mitra of M/S. Anblik, an accessibility consultancy based in Kolkata, India, established in 2003. The audit team holds the following recognised credentials:

  • IAAP Certified Professional (associate colleagues)
  • Twenty-plus years of professional web accessibility practice

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2

The Ariade demo follows Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2). These guidelines rest on four principles, which state that the site should be:

  • Perceivable — information and interface components must be presentable in ways people can perceive.
  • Operable — interface components and navigation must be operable.
  • Understandable — information and the operation of the interface must be understandable.
  • Robust — content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide range of user agents, including assistive technologies.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of showcase.ananyoo.com relies on the following technologies working with your browser and any assistive technologies installed on your device:

  • Semantic HTML5 markup
  • CSS with responsive breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • JavaScript used for progressive enhancement only
  • WAI-ARIA where native HTML semantics are not sufficient
