M/S. Anblik is committed to making the Ariade WordPress theme demonstration site accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and continually work to keep the site in conformance with those standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

showcase.ananyoo.com is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

Measures we take to support accessibility

M/S. Anblik takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of showcase.ananyoo.com:

  • Accessibility is included in our internal policies and design decisions from the earliest stage of every project.
  • Every theme release and plugin release passes an accessibility review before it goes live.
  • All designers and developers receive ongoing training in accessibility best practices.
  • We assign clear accessibility ownership: each release has a named accessibility reviewer.
  • The site is regularly re-tested with automated and manual tools to catch regressions early.

Testing methodology

Every page listed in the attached audit report has been tested with all three of the following industry-standard tools. A page is only marked verified when it passes on all three.

Deque axe

Automated WCAG rule engine covering more than 90 rules. Zero critical, serious, moderate, or minor findings on the audited pages.

WebAIM WAVE

Independent accessibility evaluation tool. Zero errors and zero contrast errors on the audited pages.

Google Lighthouse

Chrome-based accessibility and best-practice audit. Every audited page scores 100 for Accessibility and 100 for Best Practices, on both desktop and mobile viewports.

In addition to automated tools, the site is regularly checked with the following manual techniques:

  • Keyboard-only navigation across every interactive element.
  • Screen reader testing with JAWS, NVDA, TalkBack for Android, and VoiceOver for iOS.
  • Colour contrast verification with the Colour Contrast Analyzer.
  • Browser zoom testing up to 400 percent as required by WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.10 Reflow.

This audit was performed by Shivaji Mitra of M/S. Anblik, an accessibility consultancy based in Kolkata, India, established in 2003. The audit team holds the following recognised credentials:

  • DHS Trusted Tester on Accessibility
  • IAAP Certified Professional (associate colleagues)
  • Twenty-plus years of professional web accessibility practice

Technical specifications

Accessibility of showcase.ananyoo.com relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
